Art in the Church

As part of the Wantage Summer Arts Festival programme

IN RAIMENT OF NEEDLEWORK: historic and contemporary textile art.

Free exhibition in memory of Helene Lister Cheese, in the atmospheric surroundings of the medieval Parish Church. Open Thursday 26 June to Friday 4 July during normal opening hours (10 am - 12 noon Monday - Saturday).

Launch event: drop in to view the exhibition on Sunday 29 June from 1pm, with wine served from 4pm, followed by Festival Evensong.

FESTIVAL EVENSONG: Sun 29 June 5pm at Wantage Parish Church.

Choral music from Wantage Parish Church Choir, preceded by an opportunity to view the exhibition with a glass of wine. Free, donations welcome.
