Thanks to all who welcomed visitors and participated in the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust Ride and Stride on Saturday 8th September. Visitors were interested to see the renovated HT and the roof works at the Parish Church which is funded by a grant from OHCT. We spotted Sue Thwaite on her mobility scooter and Simon Jones cycling so any additional sponsor monies are welcome! Half the money raised comes straight back to our parish, and the rest is used to make grants for the upkeep of some of the most beautiful buildings in the county. Please let us have sponsor monies by the end of October. Ann and Andrew Gregory

Church ScaffoldingWork to re-roof the South Transept of the Parish Church has started. It is expected to last for 15 weeks. During this time the transept is screened off with polythene sheet and the Easternmost door is not usable. There  is alternative ramped access at the Western door. The North aisle ceiling will also be repaired and redecorated at this time. For the duration of the works daily Masses will be held in the Chancel.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused during these essential repairs.

Don't forget to check the Parish Diary here. It covers both churches and has up-to-date information about all regular and irregular services as well as occasional events such as concerts, festivals, fund raisers etc.
