As well as the regular services and events please join us at some of these times in the coming months:

Saturday 30th August
Wantage Parish Church: There will be an ORGAN MARATHON by John Ridgway. He is planning to play the organ non-stop for three hours starting at 2.00 pm. Members of the congregation are invited to sponsor him. The proceeds will be divided between the production costs of Thecla and the reduction of the Parish deficit. Shortly after 4.30 pm he will improvise an 'Organ Symphony.' please come and support this worthy cause

Wednesday, 17 September
The Parish Book Club: meets at 7.30 pm in the King Alfred's Head.
The book for September is: A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving.

Wednesday, 24th September 
The Charlton Centre: The AGM of Wantage Churches Together will be at 7.30 pm. The Speaker for the evening will be Elaine Storkey, President of Tear Fund.

Sunday 5th, October
ANIMAL BLESSING SERVICE: This annual service will be held at 3.00 pm at St John Vianney Church, Wantage. Bring your animals and friends and join Pollyanne the rescued donkey. All welcome. Tea, carrots and dog biscuits afterwards.
